Bob- you are correct...it is for the rear spar atttach on the fuselage. I think I will take Mike's advice and hang the wing and see how it looks. Mike

I am in the middle of a PA-12 recover, and got around to inspecting the Spar Butt Hinge Bushings, and the Fuselage Wing Attach Fittings today. The hinge bushings appear to be fine, with no slop or play at all. Is it recommended to go ahead and press them out and replace them anyway, or just...

I am in the midst of a recover, and will be installing the AD Long Step on my PA-12. Just wanted to hear opinions, am I better off to recover the gear, then cut a slit to install the step?, Or, install the step, and try to recover around it? Mike

I am in the midst of the restoration on the PA-12, and want more upper baggage area. I found several referneces to "installing the PA-14 deck" as being the way to go, but don't know what that really means. Does anyone have pictures? If not, can you steer me towards some? Mike

I have seen several recommendations to install the "X" cross brace in the overhead above the pilot. I also want to install the skylight as well during this restoration. Can you do both? Does anyone have any pictures of the skylight installation with the cross brace? Mike
