I am considering a move out of the bustling metropolis of Anchorage, maybe out toward Palmer. Is anyone on Wolf lake airport? It looks like there are a few lots for sale and a couple of homes with hangars. Any thoughts about life there would be appreciated. Feel free to PM as well.

Thanks for the help. I think I will be able to re-bush the ski to fix the problem.

The skiis are landis 2500. The axles are 1 1/2 inch. Airglass says it can not be done. It looks like I could remove the inside ski bushing, but it does not look like there is enough of a side wall to machine for a new bushing. I could run with out a bushing, but not sure that is the solution.

Thanks Steve, That is what it looked like to me. I guess my only option is to replace the landing gear if I need to remove that spacer.

I am trying to remove a bearing spacer on the axle of a PA20 to put the skis on. Are all spacers removable or are some actually machined as part of the axle like a cesnna? One came off fairly easy, but the other side is giving me real problems and not budging. Thanks for any help.
