Am getting a new fuselage and wondered what the current thoughts are on these two subjects since I am sure some fuselages have now been out in the field for awhile with powder coated frames and/or no oil in the lower tubes.

I read you had put an SD-20 alternator in your cub and was wondering if you still had it installed and what are some good and bad points of having it installed, also would you recommend this install. thanx in advance.
am upgrading my cub and while researching the different radio options learned that the ICOM IC-A210, Becker, Microair, and even the Garmin SL-40 all have internal intercom functions. would love to save some panel space and not install an actual intercom if I can.

last spring, i think it was cubflier who was going to test the LEE against the Atlee performance muffler. i looked for a thread but couldn't find if indeed he did this and was wondering how it came out? if not, has anyone who has had any one of the exhausts have any comments, good or bad...
the adapter can come in a kit, which is a lot more. i do not really want the quick drain, so is there a plug a person can find to plug the bottom hole where the quick drain would be? thanx
am in the market for one and am replacing the generator upon overhaul of O-320 on a cub. i know that B&C came out with the STC but it is more expensive that way. can one buy the L-40 with regulator and get a field approval? i know those have slowed but are they nonexistent or can a guy get one...
looking at their ad in Spruce, they mention having intercom. i think Crash installed one of these radios, but he also put in an external intercom. is it that some models require an external intercom and others do not?

do the filters on the various oil filter adapters hang at different angles or are they all the same? someone wrote in a previous post that the ECI was a little shorter than the B&C. I would think both would create differences in the cowling clearances. don't want to start a whole new...
