My new experimental cub has a tab instead of jack screw. I didn't think I would like it, but to the contrary,I love it. So much easier and faster to adjust, works awesome.

Because I'm soaking up some of this 80 degree weather here in Arizona, an kickin it, in our travel trailer.. Tough duty..

Yea, it's looking like I'll make the Super Cub fly in then head up. Think I'll probably go haul fishermen for a while, in Iliamna.

I'm headed up that way in June too. Not sure if I have to go before the Super Cub fly in or not yet, but it would be fun to go with a group.

I really don't think that the process or feelings change one bit from that landing, to one made years and thousands of spots later...!!

Just my 2 cents, but I think the extended gear I'd quite a bit softer and more forgiving. The added leverage against the bungees or springs..

Has anyone proved that they help?? My new cub doesn't have them at all, and it fly's very slow. Maybe it would fly even slower with them??
