Yep, its been 5 years since that gathering of infamous cubbers. I drove past the Oyster Bar resturant leaving Browns this afernoon. That night ended there!

Met Amy at the splash in. Swore I saw Charlie Aileron hoist a beer last night. Finally got to spend time with Steve P's dad, Gil over our naval days.
Otherwise sure seems quiet here for the 2 days...

I did some planning for flying across the Maine border last year but did not work out. Wife and I floated the incoming Tidal Bore up a river from the Bay of Fundy over ten years ago. Great fun.

Great news! What a plane friendly state and aviators. During my only trip to Johnson Creek in 2008, I'll always remember several breakfast stops there.

At the last oil change, I switched from long used Exxon Elite to Phillips. Have not noticed anything different in running or oil consumption so far. I found out I can buy more Phillips more...

Hey, no sign of 2013 Cals here in West Virginia yet. But wait, 2012 is not over yet! I'm sorta partial to December 2012.

I just talked with Lee Wolf, who met us at Diana, WV. He lives in Bergoo just east of Webster Springs and 24 miles from the Diana airstrip. He has 24 in. in his yard and no power or landline phone....

Not Burlington John, Craigsville. No snow east of the big mtns.

No snow here. Winds now almost calm. The eye of the storm went by just north of here. Hope to fly in the next few days to see the snow west of here before its gone!
