Atlees was in process to get an STC for that... not sure of status..
look in the PA-12...
did you rev it up high enough to throw bendix back out?
then i would think its gonna be the wire going to the center 'ring' on main mic jack thats busted at one end or other or in between..
you sure the intercomm has power? can you talk though it to passengers?
do you have the switch(depending on model) set to "CREW" position, that would prevent it from transmitting, i think...
you intercom usually just grounds the "tip" on original mic jack, you sure intercom and radio share same good ground?
huh???????, the cap should be vented.....

yup what jason said just patch over it....
wow!!
cut pin SHORTER than hinge by 1/4"
beat/crimp end of hinge on eace end about a 1/16" on each end(with pin already installed)...
thats the normal way it's been done for? decades?
Just use round one. Think more long oval shape... With a curve
And to totally fork this thread....
whole new lighter design,
now with cnc equipment that puck would not need to round...(I guess you could easily do this on a rotary table too..)
puck & bore...
another approach, but only for the cessna style ones with the round thing on back of puck, is to chuck puck in lathe by that, then lightly knurl it which will expand its diameter.... bore...
and to do it right you would want to hard anodize the new puck and the new cut bore so it don't corrode as fast I would think....
i've always wanted to make oversized pucks..... but never bought the material..... no idea why no one offers that service/part....
once around the patch.... good thing it wasn't dope.... they are working on exhaust extension...
