Merry Christmas to you too Dave! Brown ground here and beautiful, 40's for Xmas weekend. Hope it snows enough so I can get some work done in January. Enjoy your time off. Just got done Xmas shopping...
Never flown a Husky. Been in AZ twice, once when a Husky dealer was there giving rides, he back taxied 4500 ft to take off in maybe a 2mph wind, nothing wrong with that I guess, but give me a break...
Dave, he don't have a lot of time in Huskys. Been flying cubs since he was 14, 48 now. Posted what he said cause I thought it was funny as hell. He may not like them but if he had to fly them he...
I'm only repeating what I was told. And posting it here because I LMAO.
This from a guy who eats sleeps and breaths Cubs and very well respected.
Installed a set of straight floats on a guys...
Cool John!
Didn't see this one on there, so I thought I'd ad it.

A 10 episode/hour long Documentary series.
It's new this fall, started Oct 25th on the G4 network.
I've never seen it advertised or even heard about it until last night,
when a friend close to...
Yup Andrew, it works out well. Boot cowl and panel are both built for the 4" wider fuselage.
The profile doesn't change on either of them, from a stock fuselage. It looks and feels like a stock...
PA18 Widebody fuselage is 4" wider than stock and 2" narrower than a PA12.

Watched the very first episode just to see. Took it more as an insult than entertainment, but I don't watch Reality TV because it's 100% scripted from start to finish, all of them. Found this on...
The State of ND was extremely wet this year, especially in the north central where I'm located.
Maybe 20% of the cropland got seeded. Ground rigs tried there best to spray PP (prevent plant acres)...
Bill,
Haven't checked in here for a while and today when I did, I sure didn't like what I seen.
I'm very pleased and thankful that you're ok.

Just wait till you put your gas filled cloths in the dryer and blow all the windows out of your house, then you'll be really pissed . Don't laugh, happened to my uncle.

An 84/40 would be the equivalant of your 82/42.
I like 84/38, for you to be equivalant yours would need to be 82/40.
The harmonic vibration you here talked about is 2450rpm that they don't like (so...
Haven't seen it. Like it! Many many truths mentioned.

In the video Bob posted, it was good to hear the old ag pilot say SPEED IS LIFE. This is only the second time I've heard this mentioned in my Aviation career, the first time was when I read it in my...
Thanks, that is the first statement that has made sense to me regarding spin training. I agree.
Brad
Great video Bob, Thanks.
Not recognizing a stall spin or inadvertanly stalling an airplane like I've read and heard people say, makes no sense to me.
But maybe I'm wrong.
Brad
I know of 2 other situations in a normal spin, a Pawnee and a PA12 where the only thing that stopped the spin was the application of full power. I wonder how many have died, from not at least trying...
