Steve I don't have a problem with the pavement the fly-in is what we come for not the run way.
I have used the old original GO_JO hand cleaner with out pumice in it. It is also good for exhaust soot on the belly and oil.
PC680 on C85 with B&C starter spins fast enough to taxi the plane with out the engine running.
