Bill, here is sortve a neat baffling plenum idea. No air leaks and no seals.
Take out the windshield strip, the ruler will lay perfect,it looks real nice. That will be sharp looking when done. Does Your mount moves the engine a full 2 inches down and did you move it back any?...
Put a air blaster on your oil temp sending unit, it made me feel a lot better.

I was going to add, i dont have flaps so i dont know what position that is, but i sure wouldnt want it to catch completely at the wrong time.
Also the pedals underneath have a wire welded on to stop them from sliding over. Is your pedal in the right condition. To me in the top left picture it looks like the pedal is way over. Look where...

Look real close at 7 seconds into the video. Looks like a puff and the engines are all done. Maybe im seeing things?

Flaps with a overhead flap handle.
Some have used a touch of toilet bowl ring wax. And not from the ring around the inside of the bowl.
Gotta give the good lookin airplane mechanic a little credit, he has a watch anyway and dosent dribble all his chew.:-)
