You want footage of Tim in a Speedo??
This is shaping up to be a stellar year already :)
Don't bet me, Timothy, I will wear it under my clothes for the flight out and then transition on the ramp!

Randy,
What flights are you on? I head MSP-SEA, then SEA-ANC on the way out and direct ANC-MSP on the way back (5:45 am departure!).
If you stop in the Twin Cities for fuel (I'm guessing you'll probably steer around, but just in case), South St Paul (KSGS) has good fuel prices and it's where I am for work. If you stop in, say hi...
That it is but that doesn't take much :P There was the threat of rain but it never materialized and slid to the north. Unfortunately, the weather elsewhere has been abysmal so it seems attendance may...
Cub Club is here today but heading out tomorrow. Steve Pierce is floating around somewhere. Seems pretty quiet otherwise. I'm here with Wipaire the duration of the week (departing early afternoon...
I've seen a piece of soft foam stuffed in the hole by your feet. Seems to work well; not sure of any potential implications of using it (losing pieces, etc.). Simple and cheap.
Aww, had trouble sleeping? Nightmares? :P
Will be there all week with Wipaire!
I'm tentatively scheduled to be there . . . Hoping plans hold! :)
Testing for the 1450 is in progress and is going well. The plan is for the floats to be approved first on LSAs. Regularly certificated aircraft will follow. The production 1450 will be an aluminum...
I was pretty shocked when I heard it wasn't night legal a whole back . . . Not sure why it was ever neglected during initial certification as it's not that big a deal to my knowledge--at least, the...
CC Carbon Cub EX was tested to 1,865 lbs. The Legend Cub's kit sister, the Texas Sport, was tested to allow a gross weight of 1,600 lbs.

A little birdie tells me that CubCrafters made some of varnished marine plywood with a stiffener on the bottom. They were a two-piece item to fit through the hatch. Sounds similar to what Indabush...
Hello,
I'm still checking but so far it doesn't look like Wipaire has produced these. However, that is not to say that a few custom changes weren't made at some point in time, but it is more...
He better bring a big kid tent if he wants to maintain domestic bliss ;-)
You are now designated Row 2 reservation officer . . . :)
It is rounded because it looks prettier that way.
It does provide some incremental lift but see previous comment for its actual purpose.
Several modifications exist to square the Cub wing tip....
That photo is just beautiful to me on multiple levels! :)
