The panel is around 100k in that plane. Guy here just bought a new one with the vfr package and it was 264k. Theres more Huskys around here now than Super Cubs.
I wouldnt worry about the contract controllers. They will get to go on unemployment and proboly make more money than they are now. Some of the towers will reopen and funded by the city/county or...

Rough draft from a few years ago so disregard the wire sizes. Unsed # 8 for the alt and pretty much # 18 for everything else. # 4 for the battery and starter. Also used 7.5 CB for lights and...
This tailpost cracked at around 800 hours on a new fuselage. They weld the diagonal to high on the tailpost. On a factory frame they go right to the cluster. Same crack as the picture mcs posted...
Send me your email and I will send you a 337
Looks like a show plane. You may not want to fly it.
This is from a previous thread.
I have heard all kinds of claims regarding the weight difference between narrow deck, wide deck, tapered fin cyls, narrow deck cyls Vs wide deck cyls, New ECI Vs...

I tried it and didnt like it. Sounds like the engine is lugging or bogged down. Is there any way to get more cabin heat?
Is Johnson Creek gonna happen in 2013? I have to bid my vacation for next year tomorrow.
I was in the Hays MOA a couple months ago going to Havre in the 206 which has TIS. Shows all traffic with in 12 miles if they have a transponder. Had a target show up about 10 miles at 5 o clock hi...
Dan, was probably SLC Center. Talked to them today and they said minimum altitude of 12,000 to be in radar coverage to go PIR-BIL. However once in awhile the will get targets at 6500 or so about 40...
I go by Super Cub, Skywagon, Husky, Super Cruiser or Stationair. If im in something kinda unusual I will say Piper Cub 4991H a PA11 or Cessna 34567 a C140.
Another reason they want to know...
The reason they ask for your type of Piper or Cessna is so the can enter it into the ARTS. ( computer ) That way when you are handed off to the tower or who ever the next controller knows your type...
I always check in as a Super Skywagon. Then the controller asks if Im a Skywagon with a IO550. I say no, just a U206.
I've been flying a 92 Husky. Indicates 120 mph at 24/2450. Flew next to a Bonanza with a Aspen and at 25/2500 TAS was 137 mph at 4500 msl. 22/2300 indicates 110 mph and 7.5 gph. On 26 in Goodyear...
Takes the same one
