Bump---thread fell off front page
Mike
I had a jackscrew freeze up on me spotting SE salmon. By the time I was able to deal with it I had to drive it out with a rivet gun. Cut the hole out and replaced the jackscrew and put a...
Bows pointed south into the wind facing the shore-----I like it. There won't be any waves. I do tie my stick fwd so the elevators are down. I might have misunderstood situation though.

Hey Mike
Just shaking my head here:roll:. I will probably be in Ketchikan for the next couple of months and looking for some operating tips to make life a little easier. The ferry doesn't quite...
Looking for some info on operations in the Ketchikan area. Help much appreciated. Call or pm with phone number. AK--232-5951
Thanks

I was not successful in loading the photos here so I put them in my photos in the photo gallery. I know it looks strange where the old fwd window was but this was done on a covered fuselage.

As there was no welding and non structural it was just a minor alteration on mine(I think--can't remember all the paperwork). I will try and get some pics for you Bryan.

Covered or uncovered fuselage---mine was covered when I did it. One of the best mods I have done to the plane for my purposes (fishspotting). Just made life easier not having to lean back all the...
Wow.........

Happy Birthday Darrel:cheers.
Well I find myself laughing at your post as the symptoms are sounding familiar---although I am quite a bit younger. Thank you for taking the time to share all of...
Hi Darrel
That just did not look right on your panels so I went to your photo gallery. It looks like they were originally built to fit under the boot cowl. Am I missing anything or did they just...
Agree on the screw position Mike. It was just such a simple plug and play solution when I went to the smaller braided lines.

A friend suggested I use the clamps for the spark plug wires on the intake tubes of a Lyc. Might not fit your application but it could give you some ideas. Sorry for the crappy pic. I have been...
Hey JK---you have quite a bit more clearance than Darrel with the TL installed. You should even be able to still swing the engine without hitting the boot cowl on the left side?
Mark
Thanks guys!!
Truth be known I have been having a bit of a problem getting used to that W word. That and I figured I could hedge the bet a bit. She said she wanted this relationship to last---I said...
Hey Brian----I said ex-girlfriend. Heck I married her June 24th:lol:

That is identical to my 78 (speaker and dome light) wing root. Note the same reveal top and bottom of the sight gauge.
