Nope just J3s. But my PA-11 had a 65 horse in it at one time.... According to the log books they yanked the A-65 out of her and installed a C-90-8 engine after only flying 30 hours with the 65...
I think that was me... I have used the little 2 inch home fireworks mortar shells for a few customers. The lifting charge expels the heavy tube's contents and the bursting color fireworks go off...
Legal gross on floats:
J3C-65 = 1300 pounds
PA-11 = 1350 pounds.
