I've never seen a Supercub covering done with a sewn dorsal seam. It's always been glued to the center stringer with no ill effects.

I think Paul loves to be challenged.
Tighten them down after greasing between the pulley and the bushing. That's why the bushing is made a little longer than the pulley is thick.
Congratulations!!!:pty:
I thought you were supposed to fly those from the front seat.
That's not funny. It's sad.
72A - A few posts up.
It was bound to happen sooner or later.
It's still a good show, even in the snow.
All sorts of good stuff to get or keep you flying and get home safe.
There's even stuff for non-Piper aircraft...
What Mike said, twice.
The Supercub is the one I prefer. Folding wings would be a nice feature to have though.
The Carbon Cub doesn't follow the LSA formula. Don't know how CC got it through but the field definitely isn't level.
This is a cute little plane that's probably a real hoot to fly.
Sorry. I thought you were talking about the separator. Those were the only airwolf anything that showed up on the search.
These are the two pictures I found here on the site.

Why do Supercub enthusiasts care what Huskies are going for anyway?:nutz:
Just head north on the Glenn and bear left at the fork.
Is that about right?
Please post directions, address, arial photo... whatever you've got for first timers.

You have to get it to the site.
It other words, you can't use your SuperCub to transport it.
I do like it though. Especially the buried application.
That's exactly the method I was trying to describe in the #521 post. I'm glad to see it works well. I never could get the guys at work to try it. And my main task was electrical and avionics.

Well done!
Using a separate hinge for the seat back does make it easy to remove.
Excellent work Mike!:up
You could remove the rear controls entirely. Get an ag model torque tube without the rear stick. Get rid of the rudder pedals and save even more weight.
Similar to Pipers design. You just cant fold it down.
I would assemble it and then bolt it to the tube. You can make the hinge longer by riveting some aluminum to it. You won't have to use anything heavier than what you're using now and using less of it.
