J-3 PA-11's didn't have bottom stringers..........although, they are a good idea
Wires often blend into the background, making them difficult if not impossible to see.......so in addition, and what I look for primarily are poles/towers etc then the wires........poles are easily...
Awesome !!
Amazing after 40 years and hundreds of thousands of people that worked on the Apollo Project and not one of them have come foward saying it was a hoax. I was working at my parents grocery store in...
Thanks Dana, got it, just what I needed. Thanks Again.

I'm looking for a copy out of the parts manual for a PA-11 that shows the baffles. If someone could scan that page and email it to me, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks
Brian

Thanks, that just what I needed, thanks again.
Thanks HTH, if you could find those pics, it would help a lot. Do you know if your airbox is the same as PA-18 airbox, seems like the PA-18 has the hot air coming into the top and dumping out the...
I'm looking for pictures of the cabin heat air box on a PA-11 or PA-18-90. Need to see how the air is fed to the cabin heater box, plus how the cable is ran for the cabin heat box. Thanks
Brian
See that pictures next to you name on here.........might want to make room for another similar picture
Looking at a cub that has a C-85 with recent new ECI Cylinders installed. How are ECI Cylinders?
I don't know what you have........but go look at a Cessna 150. There's a pan that bolts to the bottom of the engine and directs air from the nose cowl back to the oil tank. On the PA-11 or PA18-90...
Your baggage looks very similar to a stock J-3......like a previous poster said, put a hinged plywood top on it. Placard it for Max 20lbs, and no one will be any the wiser.

Great Story, thanks for sharing
I haven't seen anyone in a video get stopped in 1-2 airplanes lengths using the water technique. If they do stop short using water, it's only becuase the water is so shallow and the tires are...
Flirting with wrecking your airplane for NO reason at all. Do a good 3 point full stall landing (on land) and you'll get in shorter and a lot safer.

Why Wood??
I looked on Google Earth, looks to be about a dozen DC-3's, a connie, a PBY, and AN2 on the ramp, plus various other airplanes and pieces.
My old instructor years ago flew DC-3's in South America. One of his landing spots was something like 17,000 elevation. He always said the worst part of that was walking up to the cockpit....he'd...
Ya, that looks cool.......but so did the B-52 just prior to the crash in...........where was it Montana a few years ago...........and also the C-17 looked pretty cool too........just prior to the...
