I would not recommend spending a bunch of money modifying your panel for an iPad mount... unless you want to do it all over in a few years. The Garmin portable life span is mush longer than an iPad. People are still using their 10+year-old panel mounted 496’s. Try finding anyone still using...
And those were the ones actually reported. I wonder how much longer the list would be if everyone did what they were supposed to do after an /incident...
