I have a 1948 PA-14 and would really like to put a belly pod on it. Unfortunately, I am being told that unless one has already installed one and gotten it Field Approved, I'm S.O.L. There was a period back when F.A.'s were done on -12's and -14's but that stopped. Is this true? If so how...

Very interested to find out what you found out. I am looking to see if there are any belly tanks/pods for a -14. I would imagine that a -12 and -14 would be very similar so if anyone has good info please let me know. Thanks
