Born and raised on farm/ranch just north of Wichita, KS. Began flying after completing medical school, soloed 1983. Have two great kids, one a terrific motorcycle mechanic (Chris) and the other a terrific hospital administrator (Brianne). My son was just married after Thanksgiving, 2010, and I hope to be soon to my sweetheart, Julie. I am a physician, specializing in reproductive endocrinology and infertility...basically helping families conceive when they have been having difficulties. My rural roots take me to outreach clinics in MT, AK, ND, SD, MN, WI and MI, flying a great CT210 to the clinics on a regular basis. My main office and IVF lab is in Maple Grove, MN (www.mcrh.com). My FUN flying, though, is in my 1978 PA18. I am an AME, providing 2nd and 3rd Class FAA flight physicals in Park Rapids MN (KPKD). I have an interest in survival and wilderness medicine, and am a frequent speaker in a number of venues as they pertain to pilots.
