  2. right wing progress

I was going to just add a new picture to my previous post on the right wing but the new vBulletin software won't allow more than five images per post. and that includes these yellow faces too......

The right wing is going well with center ribs, strut attach fittings, compression members, drag wires and tank straps in place now. I hope to start covering in January. There won't be any ski flying this winter but hopefully next winter.

The second wing is going together faster than the first, as expected.

And I was asked for some underside images of the wing prior to covering. That's easy to do with the rotating fixture that the left wing is mounted on now.

  4. wings and things

Not too much new to report. We moved the assembled wing to the rotating fixture last night and opened up the saw horses for laying out the right wing spars.

  5. Time

A project like this, for someone who is a task/goal oriented type person like me can be consuming. For the first time since I’ve been of hunting age, over 40 years now, I did not hunt this past fall other than a short day and a half antelope hunt and one morning locally with one of my sons.
