I have been thinking for a while to replace my round filter airbox with a square for a variety of reasons.
What would be the risks if I was to make one out of carbon fibre plate? I have been extremely impressed with other carbon fibre parts I have already made.
I did once make a mod on my metal air box and I was parinoid about something coming adrift and ending being sucked up the throat.
How does carbon fibre stand up to fuel?
If I was to go ahead, what square filter would I base the design around?
Would you make it with turbulators?
