Toured your country a couple years ago. Fantastic opportunities for exploring the interior. I'm envious. Looks like just the machine for your enjoyment.

J,
looks nice! Have you had Her on the scales yet?

Spent a a few weeks last summer driving the Ring Road noteing all the flying possibilities. Vary similar to Alaska in some respects except no bugs or bears to chew things up.

ill be out your way for bisness this January and would love to stop in for a look.

Did you use a set of Bushmaster plans to modify your TriPacer or did you make your own plans?

Built twin to this plane 20 years ago. Except no wing slats and pa-20 gear. Loved the IO-360. Had constant speed on mine. Weighed 1194 on 8:50s.

We have not put her on scales yet. Hopefully next week. We used Blanton plan for fuselage extension.

Have a friend who built one up from a Tripacer with his son awhile back. 160hp 0320 with electric trim jackscrew. I got to fly it once and it climbed like a home sick angle. Be careful on your first flight. He left his 900' strip on the first flight and ran out of down trim while climbing and was smart enough to reduce power or it would have stalled because he didn't have the strength to push forward enough on the controls to overcome the advancing climb at full power.
