Just finishing Javron Super cub with o-360. is there a word file that is editable that would start me creating a poh for this plane? piper pa-18 poh in Word perhaps? what is everyone doing for poh?

While a POH is not required, it is recommended. I wrote one based on the PA-18 POH format customized for my Cub Clone. PM me with your email address and I'll be happy to send it along. You can edit, modify and insert your own numbers procedures and custom photos and remake it for your plane.

.... A flight manual will be issued with your airworthiness certificate. ....

That sounds as though the FAA will issue it.
While I believe that an "aircraft flight manual" is required for all aircraft,
I also believe that it is something that is generally provided by the manufacturer--
in this case, the amateur builder.

Generally the AFM includes what the "O" in the old ARROW acronym refers to,
the operating limitations, including CG limits etc, which the average POH may or may not include.

I take back what I said about a Flight Manual above. It is a multi-paged document labeled Operating Limitations which was presented by the DAR.
