Lighting Question

Aveo Engineering categorizes their lights by experimental or part 23 Certificated. The reference to part 23 is specific. Does that imply that CAR 3 airplanes don't require TSO lights?

Depends on which lights, navs or landing. Landing lights according to CAR3 are of acceptable type which the FAA told me is anything that plugs in and works. Nav lite requirements are more specific. In general lights aren't required for day VFR ops. For this question I'm curious about daytime recognition/anti collision lighting.
