Rudder return springs ?

Working on building my rudders pedals this weekend. Is the spring on the right junk, it is weaker in strength when I installed it. Do I need to get a different one or can a guy bend it back.picture is up side down dang Ipads

If you do a search there are some old threads with some nice springs. Getting the pedals to work correctly can be an all day/or two affair.

Your not just a kidding on working correctly I had to adjust from the print on the 1/8 keeper that welds on the bottom to make them work freely.

Bear in mind that the only reason for those springs is to keep the pedals from falling backwards when your feet are not on them.

My first set of those were confiscated by the TSA. I was all proud of my purchase at Stoddard's in anchorage and forgot they were in my flight bag. They thought I might use them to do something awful.
