Different Manufactures of the Experimental Super Cub

I'm interested in building a Super Cub kit plane, probably over the next several years, and was wondering about the different brands out there. I have sent emails to Javron and Back Country Cubs and am not sure where else I should be looking? I did receive a lot of useful info from Javron but haven't received anything of use from Back Country. I am looking to build a traditional Super Cub with the exception of larger tires, 48 gal fuel capacity, and wider fuselage. Other than that I really don't want anything that strays away from the Super Cub formula in looks or function. Thank you for your suggestions.

Welcome to the Forum, m1fan.

Several firms offer SC kits and all of them differ from one-another somewhat, but when completed yield a Super Cub, although generally not a Piper-pure airplane. I think you know this. I'm building a Javron cub and really like working on it. Before I chose Javron I considered Back Country's hot-rodded J-3 airplane, Cub Crafters kit, Legend Aircraft's Super Legend kit, Dakota Cub, Alaska Airframes (offers a kit... I think) and so on.

Just off-hand, I can't think of many companies that offer complete (or right at complete) kits which would include fuselage and wings. There are others in addition to those mentioned. Just keep searching this site and you'll find names to contact.

I decided to build because the used SC market was not offering what I was seeking. The price horse had already left the barn.
