Have just started connecting my engine up.Query where have you people put your sensors. The manual says they should be remote.Ideas?

Oil pressure, fuel pressure, and manifold pressure sensors should be mounted on the firewall with -3 or -4 hoses connecting them to the appropriate connection points. Van's Aircraft makes a slick little manifold that holds three sensors. Vans part # VA-168.

It is best to use restrictor fittings for each of these. You want to plug the fittings that go into the engine and then drill them out to .040.

Thanks a lot Dave.I had heard of this unit but could not find it on the web. Will try it.
