Alpine lake flying

What the highest lakes that exp supercubs are getting into and out of with 2 people a bit of gear and couple hrs of gas. Looking mainly for info from guys that have put in bigger engines or done some mods.

Every mountain range has its own personality. Where would you like to fly?

There one lake at 5200' and another at 6400' that I want to be able to get out of. Beavers go into these lakes. Not sure if a Supercub can unless it's turbo'd.

depends on length and departure climb gradient... and are the beavers loaded????

Go in on a cold day empty, light on fuel and check it out.

I got a 150 cub out of a small lake, elevation 4500 with two and it was small... yet I made many trips to the lake at 5,000 with loads.
