Anybody know the drawing # for the false boot cowl or another name for it? I have the NL CD and have searched Christian's site as well but can't seem to come up with it.

BTW, Many thanks to Christian for setting that site up. It's a tremendous help for those of us building cubs.

"boot cowl wrapper"

....assuming you mean the narrow vertical sheet metal strip aft of the bootcowl and ahead of the fabric.

Hope this helps:)

EDIT: "Panel, Fuselage Trim"....per Piper dwg.

I never called it that.....but now i ain't so iggnoant!

Thanks Dave. That is what I'm talking about but searching the term wrapper still yields no results. I'm sure that I can just "wing it" but it's always easier to start with a drawing.

piper 12818-00 and 12818-01 Im not sure if its in the northland drawings that are for sale on this website or not?

Not too hard to make. I started out with the lower longeron angle pre-bent and then laid the originals out and cut from there.
