First thing we had to get a 172 back to the hangar, glad nobody was seriously hurt, although it messed up a little corn.

Then we went to Island Bob's and saw they were getting float planes ready and building an outhouse, then home to watch the Talledaga race. I almost forgot, Glenn drove us to lunch in Bob's Rat Rod, interesting.

Looks like an emergency landing and a cart wheel over on its back after the nose wheel dug into the ground?

What to do with a balled up 172:

Step 1. Take a concrete saw and cut the tail off between the fives.

Step 2. Cut a sheet of pressure treated 3/4" plywood to fit in the tail cone.

Step 3. Get three friends with some rope to hoist it on to the top of a hangar.

Step 4. Attach the tail section with plywood plug to the roof. Enjoy.

Seriously, Glad no one was hurt, balling up airplanes is never a good start to a Sunday.

that wouldn't even take a day to get back to ferry-able condition....

looks alot like a 182 I patched up 15 years ago, fuselage about the same, both front spars broke on bottom around strut... save those old cessna seat rails... beat/cut off bent fuselage, they are GREAT for pop riveting/bolting across that broken fuselage....

remember to dig a hole for engine so you don't damage fuselage more turning it over.....

Dave, it's a 37 Ford, kinda like an old moonshine runner, SB Chevy, 3 speed non sychro trans ( lots of double clutching ) Torque tube rear. So............ years ago a car like this ran shine to it's loyal customers

Hash, Chipped Beef, SOS all contain meat products of an unknown origin. I thought Tim was now a vegetarian.

When I first got married I wanted canned hash with my eggs. One day my wife was feeding the dog canned dogfood at the same time she had opened the hash and put them in front of me and said " tell me which is which. Never cared for it much after that.

My Father in Law George walked into a Christmas Party at his partners house. The door was opened by the partners wife and she had what looked like Swedish meatballs on a plate. George grabbed up a few and tossed them back and found that they were very tasty. However the wife pu them the plate down on the floor as they were Cycle 4 for the dog who was becoming very agitated at sharing with George.
