H or X Tail Brace Details

Is one better than the other? Can anyone share the details on either of these mods?

Specifically, I'm looking for tubing size, location, etc. to incorporate into my scratch built fuselage. Also, photos are appreciated.

Thanks.

Here are a few pictures:
The first one is a wide body Airframes Inc. Frame dating back to about 2005.
In order to determine where the tubes are located, blow up the picture and find a dimension you can duplicate on your frame -- like the tail post to the flying wires bracket. Then scale from there to find the location of the picture frame addition. The added tubes are .035 wall 4130 steel, I think 5/8 diameter but I am not positive

The next one is a Univair frame also dating to about 2005. It has the "X" brace.

If you completely box in the reinforcement with a tube across the top as I did, be careful to not put the top tube in a location where the lower elevator control cable will hit it -- mine clears but not by much.
