Folks, please bear with me if you have renewed or just joined. My main computer, the mother ship, the information center, the Fort Knox of SuperCub.Org, etc, etc, blah, blah blah, crashed the other day and I am still doing heart massage, etc to it.

I hope to have it back in action tomorrow!

I thought Mac's were for CHECKING emails and LOOKING at webpages. PC's are for everything else. (written on a MAC) Anyone want to buy this overpriced piece of run only some software %^@#$!!?? 8) 8) :bad-words:

It sure looks pretty though....

Well, some would argue that is best to have an over priced, good looking, it just works systems than save a couple of bucks to run half cooked SW and is totally unreliable...  8)

I have to agree. Mac's don't hard crash as often (soft crash is another issue), the manufacturer just obsoletes the operating system about every six months so you are forced to upgrade. That is one way to make it look like you have great hardware.

But, I vote independent on the Mac/PC thing. Whatever works best for you and what you do.

This was a five or six year old Dell D820 notebook that is on all the time since I access it remotely. It gave me all the signs, sent messages, left notes, all kinds of obvious indications that the end of the the hard drives life was near, but I just kept cracking the whip :)

Any data if you have the mac tilted for a zero thrustline and facing downwind? :drinking: :o
