Fuel pump????

Yep, it's me again,

Any comments on the position for the electric fuel pump on the back country kit. Before or after the Gascolator? In the boot cowl or engine cowl? Anything else I should take into consideration?

IMO.. Always after the gascolator.

Next question is why a pump at all on a high wing? You running fuel injection or throttle body... if not KISS !

Well I am not sure. It's 0-375 so it has a carb of course. But I thought that maybe before the gascolator in case there is a blockage you could help it along a bit. Belts and braces. But as a complete newbie I would appreciate your elaboration on your thoughts.
