max runout on 0-320 prop flang

Dale
You probably already know this but in many cases a prop flange can be
"Bent Back" and then remachined. My 0235 core I bought a few years ago
was beyond simply machining and AEA was able to bend, machine, and recertify the crank.

If you're asking due to a prop strike, you might wanna dig deeper than just the flange. Lycomings have a bolt on the aft end of the crank (or cam, can't remember) that is subject to damage in a prop strike. I believe there's a service bulletin and/or AD on this.
Be a bummer if your crank flange dials OK (or can be made to dial OK), then later on that bolt breaks & the engine goes quiet at an inopportune moment.

It is an AD. You are supposed to pull the crank gear, check the dowel pin and the recess in the end of the crank and replace the bolt and lock tab. Requires removal of the accessory case on O-320 and O-360s and the sump as well on the O-320s I have done it on.
