Nope.
I can't even fly my OM into the US, let alone sell it there.
I don't see any diff between OM & EXP, but the FAA doesn't see the humor in downgrading your classification.
It is possible, but cost prohibitive, as every part needs to be inspected, so a teardown is required. Maybe someday they'll be more friendly/reasonable, but they're politicians ya know.
I heard this discussed at Oskosh this year at the Cub Club forum. The advice was don't and that the plane's status could not be changed.
I am by no means an expert, I just remember it being discussed.
