Got an email today about a tax proposed in SB-2099.

Says this will require us to declare all firearms on 2009 taxes, with a $50/firearm tax

Also says that this my be able to circumvent the floor vote due to it being some amendment to former tax bill, requiring only a finance committee vote.

I a not up on my govt. rules, and have not dug into this, but though I might mention it so all can look!

Where is Ted Stevens when we need him! :-?

You know, it would have taken less time for you to type "SB-2099" into Google search than to write your post. 8)

Maybe, but would take a week to sort through the options, and I hate searches for other than aircraft!

Thanks for the update and correction.
