What shops would you recommend for rebuilding cubs in AK?

Wick Air in Palmer is the best that I know of. Their craftsmanship is superb and the the folks there are just some really great people to deal with.

This is a shot of a friend's rebuild which even turned the heads of the folks at Dan's in Anchorage.

There is another guy that I failed to mention that is tops on the list.

Three years ago a friend introduced me to Lanny Merritt. I have had him work on my cub since then. He definitely is one of the best guys in the cub business. His understanding goes way beyond shiny paint and polish. He knows what makes these things fly and there isn't any angle or measurement that he does not know.

His workmanship is superb and his knowledge of the airframe assures you that you will have a cub that looks "and performs" great when he gets done.
