Very sorry to hear that Joe. Also sorry that I never met him,
although I read a lot about him. I did look at his Cub when
I visited you in FL a few years ago. Very impressive

Do you think that you should post something on SC.Org?
I know that Ron had a lot of friends on there.

Ron, a very sad note.

My very very very dear friend Ron Bull has left us.
His loving wife, Trish, just called and told me he passed away
this morning. I had spoken with him yesterday...
So, a few minutes ago, the cell rang and I saw his name.
"Helllloooo Capt Ron".
"This isn't Ron, Joe, it's Trish."
"Great to hear from you, Trish. How's the Captain?"
"Not very well, Joe. He died this morning."
---eight simple words that I'll never never forget---

Capt Ron, United Retired, was the proud owner
of "The Ultimate Cub". He was in great health for
anyone; much less a 73 year old.
His heart simply broke down.

Sorry to hear of Ron's passing. I had the distinct pleasure of meeting him a time or two at Sun N Fun, and enjoyed the visits.

Our thoughts and prayers for him and his family.

I was signed off by Ron on my last two bi-annuals and was able to sit with him awhile at his hangar at North County airport in Florida and talk airplane talk.

Showed me a few tricks on instrument approaches that I will never forget.

Extremely nice man and condolences to his family.

I was friends with Ron in EAA CH-203 and IAC-23 in WPB - I got an urge to look Him up and find this! How sad for Trish. She and I were going to go sky diving together and something came up. I don't remember what. Ron and I shared political beliefs and had many a great conversation. He was very proud of flying for United. I haven't seen him for 37 years, yet I will still miss him.
