For the third generation of minister's family you do have a mean streak in you don't you? :bunny
I guess I can always go on the hunt and produce a much superior non buttoned but unauthorized version of the hat with a new website as

Nice looking hat as long as I cut off the button, Hope it does fit my fat head!
I just ordered two just in time for this years fly ins.
Now how about some Hanes navy Blue Hooded Sweatshirts, With a really cool Tundra tired Super Cub Maybe front and back? The ash Gray sweatshirt is nice for one day but I always end up sticking my arms in someplace or laying in some Grease while looking under the Cub. Also I can never find the logo section where the sweatshirts are in the store? Maybe it's just me?
Anyways I'm going to stop typing so you can go box up my hats and send them out.
Thanks
It is a low profile hat much like the last one, the button comes off easily with a side cutter and is not structural in nature.
To order hats without buttons is REALLY expensive, believe it or not.
If you don't like them, apparently John "Woke Up on the Wrong Side of the Bed" Meade is working on a new website / hat combo...
sj
P.S. In the past everyone has preferred the low profile hat for headsets and flying.

John--a handsome guy like you doesn't even need a hat---just buy the LOGO sticker and put it on your forehead.

See Joe I knew you would understand. SJ just does not remember the larger size hat that is needed when a man has a full head of hair
The button does not bother me at age 50 because my Dark Full Head of HAIR cushions my scalp from the button. Joe do you think it is a plot by the folically challenged to have us shave our heads so the hats will fit :o
Could this be an attempt to have us all conform :( Could this be a communist plot
Joe I need to get us a full sized hat immediately this is a grave situation :bad-words:
John,
Due to the unrest and concern you have caused among those with lots of hair on their heads and not all over their body where it should be, we are working on a hat extender which is similar to the seat belt extender they give people on the airlines. There will also be a bungee option which goes around the chin for windier days.
Efforts to patent this hat saving device failed due to the fact that it was already patented.

Ok, back to business: Check out this picture from when John Meade won the Thrustline Mod at New Holstein 2006.
NOTE the low profile hat he is wearing that is fitting perfectly on his well formed head. Doesn't he look awesome, stylish, happy, and well adjusted?
Of course, my hat is so unique, it is beyond description...
http://www.supercub.org/photopost/data//689/medium/DSCN2622-1.jpg
Now, take this next picture as a comparison, here John is wearing a "not so low profile" hat and you can tell by the look on his face, and the upward pointing wispy misdirection of his follicular endowment that this is clearly not the hat for him. Whether it has anything to do with it being a Ford hat or not, I can't comment it is outside the realm of this investigation.
http://www.supercub.org/photopost/data//500/medium/192_9212.JPG
Additionally, note how savvy, intelligent, and cool Jeff and I look in our low profile New Holstein hats.

Update....Since I was accused of thwarting the efforts of Hat Sales I kept a low profile on this thread missing this last go around.I have some bad news. Those were not low profile hats in the pictures they were BIG Hats that fit my head. Unlike these Chinese hats that SJ is trying to sell us for pin heads. In the picture with Russell you can see the obvious disdain on my face where SJ tells me"I had no idea the Supercub hat would not fit you...They fit my head and Russell's head...but that sure is a nice FORD hat they gave you at Osh Kosh"
I responded with my standard...."SJ I have a full head of hair and yes I am older than you and Russell and I can only assume it is those tight hats that are making your hair thin"
Now I will be accused of waking up on the wrong side of the bed but do not succumb to the smoke show our Leopold will throw up to you.
in the words of Mr. Chapin....Harry it ...it SUCKS...the hat that is.
By the way SJ what were you thinking with that floppy hat...was your wife dressing you at the time...was the medication not adjusted properly....Did you join the hair club for men and they changed you into boxers and hats that fit so all the follicles could swing freely
Maybe I did get up on the wrong side of the bed as this drips with sarcasm
John all that may be true, but the only thing I know is every time you say something bad about the hats on this thread, I sell three more of them.
Keep up the bad work!
Thanks!

for those who are circumferentially endowed with additional cranial
osteomegaly I am sure that something like a bushel basket with a brim or a five gallon bucket with a sun shade can be procured with minimal additional cost to the purchaser. There are certainly many macrocephallics that should be accomodated in the interest of embracing diversity and
inclusiveness .
I have been advised by "sources" that the button of the superior aspect of aviators caps may contain a transponder chip, cleverly placed in aforementioned location by the androgenous leader of the DHS. Radicalized single engine high wing aircraft operators have been added to the list of Americans that bear closer scrutiny for their "independent" thought and lifestyles.
