I am working on a PA-11 EXP with an O-290 D2 and I am considering a wood prop to lighten up the front end, which is a good wood prop and where can I get one? I am at 4000' ele and hot in the summer and want a good climb performance.

Either a Sensenich 80x38 or 80x40 would be good on a D-2. The 38 would definitely be my choice due to the better takeoff and climb performance.

I always wanted to try an MT on my -11. Since you are experimental is doesn't matter, but you can legally use a 76" MT on a C90 because it's "wood". Can only use 74" metal.

The price seems to be within a few bucks, fixed MT vs. fixed metal.
