so is it considered a bad thing.... when you are working outside the space station and you let your bag full of tools float off into space?

Nice job lady!:o :o
I wish Mission Control was tracking my tools after I lost them! :D
Isn't it strange 98 percent of Americans don't even know we had a shuttle take off last week into space? Must be ho-hum for them.

The cost of that grease gun alone could have bailed out GM,Ford, and Chrysler.
Do you have any idea how much restraint it takes to not comment on the gender of the astronaut.

I lose tools on the work bench… I can’t even fathom being spun at a thousand miles per hour hurtling through space at 67,000 M.P.H. upside down after a big meal of spam and orange powdered tang.
BUT it sure would be fun to make a couple gender jokes...

Where is Tim Allen?
Posing as a woman so he could get into space!
sorry, but while diving we used to tether our bags, because working under a boat in 100' of water seemed to be hard on tools.
Is a simple tether too much to ask from NASA?
Two people were ignoring the tools? Bet they put these folks in charge of TSA now!

That is kind of like dropping a tool or part when you are on floats. No matter how deep the weeds and water, you still look to see if maybe it floated or stopped just under the surface. The sound of the splash is so final when it is your brand new 7/8 deep socket and Craftsman ratchet. :bad-words:
So how many of you top notch mechanics have had your grease gun go to hell on you while you were working in a weightless vacuum ?
I can't even find the tools I'm laying on.

I can understand forgetting your tool bag would wander off into space but the part of the story about recovering urine and sweat to make drinking water has me a little hung up.
Even my low bred relatives knew to not put the outhouse uphill er the spring, and not a rocket scientist in the bunch.
There's just got to be a better way. I bet a $100k tool bag is cheap compared to that water filter.
