My dear friends,
In the past days I started documenting and printing some 1:1 patterns for the parts I am replacing or rebuilding in my project. I needed to draw in the computer and started looking for some software to do it. But I had in mind 2 ideas, 1 the software had to be FREE, and the other 2 the software should be AutoCAD compatible (as almost anywhere I plot the blueprints they use AutoCAD)
I used first a trialware called "Space Claim". Really good software, easy to learn, 3D, but 30 days trial.
Then I remembered about "Solid Edge" and went to the website and found a 2D free software from them. FREE, easy to learn, AutoCAD compatible. not trialware.
If you are interested in any of my drawings (only for reference) I can send you.
Also there is a link below that have the software.
Use it and discuss it.
