My Son is Newly Licensed Pilot!!!

Congrats to my son, Zach, he passed his check-ride on Friday,July 13th!! He is sure one happy young man. He had 45 hours when he went for his check ride. Thirty of those hours were in the last couple of months. He has been trying to get his license for the last two years and with us being stationed overseas and only getting to fly when we are back stateside it was one problem after another. He just started and soloed last summer when the plane was due an annual. Well, the FBO here, kept the plane for 6 weeks because they had more important things to do, so he had to leave for college before he was able to fly anymore. Needless to say, he really crammed for it this summer. He got his ticket on Friday and had to fly out Sunday morning for his ROTC commitment before heading back to Embry-Riddle in Prescott.
