Husky accident in Montana

I ferried a '46 T-Cart up to Bozeman this weekend, and upon arrival the borrowed handheld was unable to rouse the tower (but it worked fine leaving Pocatello), and a Husky pilot was nice enough advise the tower he could hear me and I followed him in. I ran into him on the ramp later and thanked him, hope it wasn't him.

JC was released from the hospital and is at home.

Sparky is going through a little more evaluation, but has been cleared to fly home, and will be released shortly if he hasn't been already.

The statements by the instructor in that AOPA article have been firmly and soundly condemned as BS by the pilot of the plane. AOPA has, I believe now removed it from its site, for that reason.

I think they jumped the gun a bit.

Let the NTSB do its job, folks.

The newspaper in this case, I thought did a great job of fairly reporting the accident without getting all weird. Too bad AOPA couldn't follow their lead and do a little more investigating.
