I just wanted to let you know about my recently re-launched website: shortfield.com. The site is for pilots who enjoy backcountry flying and/or airplane camping. It is built around the standard FAA database of airports, but goes much further by including a growing list of 'uncharted' strips, videos, charts, etc. The goal of the site is to allow the growing community of users to share photos, videos, PIREPs, and wiki descriptions for airstrips they visit. I also try to include occasional articles about aviation and outdoor gear.
Its a non-commercial site and shouldn't conflict with anything happening here. Please check it out, become a registered user, and contribute frequently.
