What is this strange small twin high wing?

A friend asked about this airplane from the movie "The Gods Must Be Crazy II". Note the inverted V type tail.

Looks like a Lazair twoseater. But I never saw one with enclosed cockpit. Must of been added for the movie. I could be wrong tho.
