looking for a set of PA14 landing gear

need a set of good PA14 gear. Anyone out there upgraded to 18 gear lately and want to part with their old gear? A set of good PA12 gear in compliance with the AD would be ok also.

pa-14 landing gear

Pardon my ignorance: what is the difference between pa-14 gear and pa-12 gear? What does the ad cover?

Lasater , the old 12 gear had a diagonal strap(1/8 x 1 1/2) that would tend to buckle with a good side load . The 14 gear used a streamline tube in this area to remedy the problem . The 12 gear can be retrofitted with the streamline tubing .

FirstCruiser , if I can find a reasonably priced set of 1 1/2 axle 18 gear I'll give you a great deal on my upgraded 12 gear.

I think they have 14 gear in stock at Glacier Acft. Parts in Palmer.

I have two sets of PA-12/14 gear. Both have streamline tubing. One set has 1-1/2" axle, one set has 1-1/4" axles . Call if interested
