weather, anchorage?

okay all you alaska types, weather channel is calling the short term forcast wx for ANC, & moose pass @ 60% chance precip. IS this like FSS calling marginal vfr and vfr not recomeded when it is usually is quite flyable.
thinking about taking the last slot at moose pass for the season.

A 60% chance of rain doesn't mean a terrible lot in any case. Could mean the pass is not flyable but the low-lands are fine or could mean you have little clouds wandering through from time to time and flying isn't a problem.
