The Big Woods of Maine
I just landed a half hour ago and I'm sure I'll be buzzing for the next day with the Cub Happys. It was a perfect late afternoon and early evening here in Maine. Visibility superb, smooth air and no humidity. Temps in the 70s. The scenery--simply awesome.
It was an effortless session. The Cub flew like she knew precisely what she wanted to do and I was just strapped in for the ride. We zoomed, banked, spiraled and cruised over the lakes and woods. Three point swishes into the grass were about as automatic as it gets. I'm telling you, I was just along for the ride. Fingertip flying at most.
It is amazing what a little Piper Prozac will do for the soul. I've said it before and I'll say it again--we are a damn lucky group of people.
