How often should you change the bungee's - they were new in 2002
All my landings are grass - no hard surfaces

Don't do the bouncing I did the first year

just depends. seen lots go 10-15 yrs or more.
when you start seeing a gap in the piston arm or the wear mark on the strut is sticking out( if you have metal covers) its probably about time to change.
When you spin the aircraft around at the pump and one wingtip is nose high its about time to change
when you pull down on one wingtip and the near wheel just spreads out instead of the far wheel leaving the ground its about time to change
when you leave black marks on the struts every time you land, its about time to change
when your tires sit at a sharp angle / in the hangar empty its about time to change.

But I only said about, no use getting in too big a hurry.
