Where would I find the frame serial# on a PA22/20

On my '53 I converted, S/n was on plate riveted to firewall and I found small metal tag with it stamped on welded to large tube under passenger's side

I have a 1957 PA22, that is currently in pieces, and the frame serial # is located on the main crossover tube next to the top of the windscreen.

I have only seen them under the paasenger seat on the cross tube. Will have to look at my 1959 and verify they didn't change it later in production. All the ones I have rebuilt were 1956 and older. The doors have the same number stamped on them.
